1/10 Scale RC Rock Crawler - The Traxxas TRX-4 Sport

remote controlled cars

The Traxxas TRX-4Sport is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a 1/10-scale RC Rock Crawler. It comes with a single-speed transmission, full-time locked diffs, and proven chassis electronics and axles. This ensures a smooth driving experience.

2.4 TQ 2 channel motor

Traxxas TRX4 sports' 2 channel motor with 2.4 TQ provides ample power, but it is easy to control the motor's direction. Because the motor can sense direction, it makes it easier for you to control your vehicle on slippery surfaces. The system assists in maintaining the vehicle's line of sight and speed as it turns.

It includes a 2.4 channel TQ motor and TQI channel remote. It features an aggressive-looking front grill and scale body. The TRX-4 Sport's 228 watt motor (2.4 TQ) can produce enough power to drive the vehicle through the mud. The model is fully waterproof and splash-resistant. It comes with an EZPeakLive charger that can be used for charging. Traxxas also makes a separate transmitter available for the TRX-4 Sport.

T-lock differentials

T-lock differentials for Traxxas' TRX4Sport are a fun way to make it a racing, all-terrain car. T-Locks can be used with the stock radio transmitter, but require an extra channel. The company offers a Power Up Program that allows you to trade your radio system in and receive a discount on the 4-channel version. The procedure is the same, but you will need to follow these simple steps to make the change.

T-Lock upgrades your Traxxas TRX-4 Sport with T-Lock cables and servos. These parts will also help you control the front and rear differentials. This will allow you to drive your truck up steep hills and avoid having it flip over. It will also give you a better grip around your steering radius.

Transmission: High/Low

The TRX-4 Sport is equipped with a T/Lock Transmission and T-Lock Differentials, but does not have "High" Gears. Instead, it has a different final-drive ratio in Low gear - 17-tooth pinion and 39-tooth spur. Although they share the same TQ transmitters, they do not feature cruise control.

The Traxxas TRX-4 Sports and TRX-4 HO models feature a portal axle for increased ground clearance. Portal axles reduce torque twist and improve drivetrain speed. You can adjust the speed of your driveshaft with the TRX-4 Sport's high/low gearbox. This does not affect the torque at the axle. GTS aluminum shocks are slim and threaded. Steel links connect the axles to the chassis. The Traxxas designers had the right geometry.
